.Extra large baking pan (you can also use 2 – 9 x 13 pans if you don’t have an extra large baking pan.

Oven Caramel Corn

This is the best caramel corn you will ever taste!

Prep Time 20 minutes
Cook Time 1 hour
Course Snack
Cuisine American
Servings 15 cups

Ingredients
  

  • 15 cups popped corn
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine
  • 1/4 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda

Instructions
 

  • Heat oven to 200 degrees.
  • Divide popped corn between 2 ungreased baking pans 13 x 9 x 2" or one extra-large baking pan.
  • In a saucepan heat brown sugar, butter, corn syrup, and salt stirring occassionaly until bubbly around edges.
  • Continue cooking over medium head for 5 minutes.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Stir in baking soda until foamy.
  • Pour over popped corn striring until corn is well coated.
  • Bake for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
